Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease the bottom only of a 9 ″ baking pan.

In a large saucepan, heat the margarine and applesauce together over medium heat until the margarine is just melted, then remove from heat.
Add the remaining ingredients, stir quickly to moisten, then pour the batter into the baking pan.
