   Cream sugar, shortening and vanilla until light and fluffy.

   Add eggs and beat well.

   Stir in mashed bananas.

   Sift flour with baking powder, soda and salt, add and mix well.

   Chill 30 minutes.

   Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet.
