   Cream butter and sugar, add egg, warm milk and golden syrup when hot add soda and beat into butter.

   Sift in flour and baking powder.

   Pour half the mixture into a greased tin, add cocoa and cinnamon to remaining half and pour into tin on top of other mixture.

   Bake 3/4 hour.

   Ice with chocolate icing.
