Chocolate Cake 09

Method (preview)

   Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour one 8x8-inch baking pan.

   Sift the first 5 ingredients together into a large bowl.

   In a seperate bowl combine the remaining ingredients then add then to the dry mixture.

   Stir until smooth.

   Scrape the batter into the pan and spread evenly. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes.

   Let cool in the pan on a rack for 10 minutes.

   Let cool on the rack.

   Serve plain, dusted with powdered sugar.
