Fortune 06

Make Fortune 06 at home with Butter, Sugar, and Flour. Scale it up or down for the number of people at the table.

• 3/4 cup

Method (preview)

   Mix egg whites, sugar and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients.

   Chill for 1/2 hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drop 2 cookies on a greased cookie sheet. Bake 3-5 minutes. Fold quickly.

   You can only make two at a time as the cookies cool and harden quickly.

   To fold them you place a fortune in the middle, fold the cookie in half and then fold the ends together.

   Place the cookie in an egg carton to help hold its shape until cool.
