French Apple 02

Ingredients

• 1 cup
• 3 tbsp

Method (preview)

   Combine sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon and zest; add apples and raisins; mix well.

   Put in pastry-lined 9" pie pan.

   Sprinkle with orange juice and dot with the butter.

   Place top crust over filling, flute edges.

   Slash top crust to vent.

   Bake for about 40 minutes, until crust is browned and apples are tender.
