German Chocolate 02

German Chocolate 02 is built on Sugar, Flour, Milk, Semi Sweet Chocolate Broken Up, and Vanilla. Scale it up or down for the number of people at the table.

Method (preview)

   Mix together the sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt.

   Beat together the milk and egg yolks.

   Add to the dry ingredients.

   Bring to a boil and let boil 1 minute.

   Remove from heat.

   Add the chocolate and vanilla.

   Stir until the chocolate is dissolved.

   Add the coconut and pecans.

   Pour into a pre-baked pie shell and let cool to set up.

    Top with whipped cream and more coconut and pecans.
