Hot Pepper Jelly 02

This Hot Pepper Jelly 02 recipe uses Hot Peppers, Green Peppers, Water, Vinegar, and Surejell Powdered Pectin. Add it to your meal plan and shop the whole list in one go.

Ingredients

Method (preview)

   Clean and dice peppers. Bring to a full boil and boil 15 minutes.

   Strain and cool.

   Mix vinegar and 1-1/2 cups pepper liquid (add water, if necessary, to make the 1-1/2 cups pepper juice).

   Add a drop or two of green food coloring.

   Mix in SureJell and boil for 1 minute.

   Add sugar and boil for 1 more minute.

   Remove from heat, skim foam.

   Pour into hot sterilized half-pint jars and seal.

   Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
