   Combine baking powder, salt, and eggs in a mixing bowl.

   Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well mixed.

   Add sugar gradually, beating until thick and light colored; fold in flour and vanilla.

   Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 13 minutes or until cake springs back when gently pressed.

   Unroll cake; spread with jelly, and reroll. Place seam side down on serving plate; sprinkle with additional powdered sugar, if desired.
