Method (preview)

   Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, molasses, milk, water and mincemeat.

   Sift flour, measure and sift again with salt and baking powder; add rolled oats.

   Combine with first mixture; mix thoroughly.

   Drop by teaspoonfuls onto well oiled baking sheet. Bake in hot oven (400 F) 15-20 min. Makes 45 cookies.
