Mincemeat 03

Mincemeat 03 is built on Butter Or Margarine Softened, Granulated Sugar, Water, Vanilla Extract, and Powder Sugar. Keep it handy for the next time you cook it.

Ingredients

Method (preview)

1. 1

   Preheat oven to 325. With mixer, beat butter and granulated sugar in large bowl until combined. Add water and vanilla. Beat well.

   Stir in flour and nuts.

   Shape dough into 2-1/2 inch circles, using about 1 tablespoon dough for each.

   Top each with slightly rounded teaspoon of mincemeat.

   Shape dough around mincemeat.

   Place cookies, seam side down, on ungreased cookie sheet.

   Bake 20 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned.

   Remove from baking sheets.

   Cool on wire racks.

    Place powdered sugar in plastic bag.

    Add cookies, a few at a time, and shake gently until coated.

    Store covered in the refrigerator.
