Method (preview)

   Beat egg slightly; add dry ingredients and then stir in molasses and boiling water. Put in refrigerator and chill while making and crumbs.

   Mix dry ingredients and shortening into fine crumbs.

   Bake in 375 degree oven for 35 minutes.
