Peach 02

Method (preview)

1. 1

   Put peaches into a 10 X 6 1/2 inch baking dish, sprinkle w/ 1 cup of sugar, almond extract, lemon juice and the lemon rind.

   Mix together the flour, salt, baking powder, 1 Tbsp sugar.

   Cut in the shortening and add the milk, and egg.

   Dot over the peaches and sprinkle the remaining sugar over the top.

   Bake at 400F for 35 - 40 minutes.
