Plantation 01

Method (preview)

   Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter, sugar and eggs together.

   Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

   Add flour mixture alternating with milk.

   Beat well.

   To 1/2 half of batter, add spices and molasses.

   Place by spoonfulls, alternating between spice mixture and plain batter, into 1n 8 inch greased square pan.

   Bake for about 50 minutes.

   Top with a coffee buttercream frosting.
