   Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly.

   Mix flour, cream of tartar, soda, salt and cinnamon.

   Stir into shortening mixture.

   Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
