Banana Bonanza Ice Cream

Banana Bonanza Ice Cream comes together with Milk, Whipping Cream, Eggs Beaten, Sugar, and Bananas Extra Ripe Peeled. Scale it up or down for the number of people at the table.

Method (preview)

   In saucepan, combine milk, cream, eggs, and sugar.

   Cook and stir over low heat until mixture thickens slightly and coats the back of a spoon.

   Cool to room temperature.

   Puree bananas in blender ( 1 cup).

   Combine cooled custard, bananas, vanilla, salt and nutmeg.

   Pour into freezer container.

   Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
