• 1.0 pkg Plain Yellow Cake Mix
• 1.0 Cp Sour Cream
• 0.3333 Cp Vegetable Oil
• 0.25 Cp Water

Method (preview)

   Place rack in the center of the oven & prehaat to 350 F. Lightly mist a 10" tube pan with vegetable oil spray then dust with flour. Shake out the excess flour then set aside.

   Place the cake mix, sour cream, oil, water, sugar, eggs & vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Blend with an electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute. Stop & scrape down the sides of the bowl. Increase to medium & beat 2 minutes, scraping down when needed. the batter should look thick & smooth. Pour batter into the prepared pan, smoothing it out.
