2.0 cup Brown Sugar
2.0 cup White Sugar
0.75 cup Softened Butter
1.0 cup Shortening

Method (preview)

Cream sugars, butter and shortening. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Then add flour, salt and soda. Add remaining ingredients. Drop in teaspoon size balls on greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes or until edges are brown. Makes a bunch of cookies, about 7 dozen.
