   To make syrup, combine sugar and water in a pot and boil until sugar dissolves.

   Pack firmly the treated fruit in pint jars.

   Pour about 1/4 cup syrup over peaches and then add 3 to 4 tblsp brandy over the fruit.

   Add enough syrup to fill jars to within 1/2 inch.

   Secure lid and process jars 20 minutes.
