• 1.0 cup Milk
• 1.0 cup Hevy Cream
• 3.0 Egg Yolks
• 0.3333 cup Sugar

   Heat the milk and 1/2 cup of the cream to simmering point in a saucepan.

   Combine the egg yolks & sugar in a bowl and add the flour, stirring with a whisk. Stir the hot milk and cream into egg mixture and return it to the saucepan. Place the saucepan over a low heat & stir until the mixture thickens into a light custard. Remove from the heat and stir into the vanilla extract. meanwhile, make the butterscotch by combining the brown sugar, butter and the remaiing cream in a saucepan over moederate heat. Bring to the boiling point, reduce heat & simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring until smooth. Cool the butterscotch ice cream to room temperature, then add the ice cream mixture, stirring together well. Chill the mixture.
