• 3.0 tbsp Cornstarch

   Thaw and drain the frozen sour pie cherries.

   Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 3 TBSP cornstarch in saucepan. Blend in cherry juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thick and clear. Stir in the almond extract and drained cherries. Turn into baked pie shell.
