Chocolate Angel Food Dessert

Chocolate Angel Food Dessert comes together with Semisweet Chocolate Chips, Milk, Sugar, and Whipping Cream Whipped. Scale it up or down for the number of people at the table.

Method (preview)

   In the top of a double boiler over boiling water, melt chocolate chips.

   Combine milk, egg yolks and sugar; gradually add to chocolate, stirring constantly.

   Cook for 2-3 min. Remove from the heat; cool to room temperature.

   Fold in cream.

   Tear cake into bite-size pieces; place half in a greased 13x9x2 ″ baking pan.

   Top with half of the chocolate mixture.

   Repeat layers.

   Cover and refrigerate overnight.
