Ingredientes

• 1.0 cup Shortening
• 2.0 cup Sugar
• 2.0 Eggs
• 1.0 tsp Lemon Extract

   Cream shortening. Add 1 1/2 cups of the sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs and flavorings; beat well.

   Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls 3 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Press cookies with fork to flatten. Sprinkle cookies with remaining 1/2 cup sugar and the crushed peppermint candy. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
