Christmas Rolled Oats Cookies, 1980

Make Christmas Rolled Oats Cookies, 1980 at home with Brown Sugar, Eggs, Rolled Oats, All Purpose Flour, and Nut Meat. Serves 1. Keep it handy for the next time you cook it.

Method (preview)

   Beat eggs until light add sugar and beat, add shortening and beat into first mixture.

   Add flour, cinnamon, salt and vanilla.

   Add and mix well.

   Add raisins.

   Dissolve soda in milk. Stir quickly into mixture. Add rolled oats, nuts and fruit and mix well.

   Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. top with red and green cherries, nuts and dates.

   Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
