Cobb Salad, The Original Hollywood Brown Derby

Cobb Salad, The Original Hollywood Brown Derby is a salad/vegetable recipe made with Salad, Iceberg Lettuce, Watercress, Curly Endive, and Romaine Lettuce. Serves 6. Scale it up or down for the number of people at the table.

• 1/2 tsp

• 3/4 tsp

• 1/4 cup
• 3/4 cup

Method (preview)

   Chop lettuce in very fine pieces using a knife or processor.

   Mix chopped ingredients together in one large wide bowl or in individual wide shallow bowls.

   Add chives.

   Arrange tomatoes, chicken, bacon, avocado and eggs in narrow strips or wedges across top of greens.

   Sprinkle with cheese. Chill. At serving time, toss with 1/2 cup French Dressing.

   Combine all ingredients in a container with a lid. Shake well before using.
