Method (preview)

   Grease baking sheet.

   Combie sugar & water in small saucepan.

3. 3

   Place oer medium heat & cook without stirring until syrup is dark caramel in color.

   Remoe from heat & add almonds, stirring to coat evenly.

   Pour onto prepared sheet & let cool completely

   Transfer brittle to double thickness of heavyweight plastic bags and break into coarse chips using rolling pin.

   Freeze ice cream base according to manufacturer's instructions. Add brittle and mix briefly to distribute evenly.
