• 1.0 cup Cold Tea
• 4.0 oz Butter
• 1.0 cup Mixed Sultanas And Currents
• 1.0 cup Dates Chopped

Method (preview)

   Put tea, butter, fruit and sugar in a saucepan over low heat and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Simmer for three minutes, then remove from heat and allow to cool.

   Stir in flour and baking soda, mixing thoroughly. Put in a greased, floured loaf pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for approximately 1 hour, or until cake tester comes out clean.
