Cowboy Caviar

Cowboy Caviar — een communityrecept op Potlikkr.

Ingrediënten

• 2.0 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
• 1.5 tsp Hot Sauce
• 1.5 tsp Salad Oil
• 1.0 clove Garlic

Bereiding (voorbeeld)

   In a large bowl, mix vinegar, hot sauce, oil, garlic and pepper. Peel avocado and cut into 1/2-inch cubes. Add to vinegar mixture and mix gently to coat. Drain and rinse peas and corn. Add peas and corn, onions, cilantro and tomatoes to avocado; mix gently to coat. Add salt to taste. Serve the mixture with chips as an appetizer or add cabbage to make a salad.

   Michelle Says: This is a very unusual appetizer. We like it best with the chips, but it's very good with the cabbage, too.
