Method (preview)

   Sprinkle cranberries with 1/4 cp sugar. Combine biscuit mix, flour & the 1/2 cp sugar. Stir in shortening, mil, egg & vanilla until smooth. Stir in cranberries. Pour into greased 9x9 pan. Bake 30-35 minutes at 350

   Sauce: Combine sugar, cornstarch & cranberry juice cocktail. Cook & stirl until thickened. Cook 2 minutes more, stir in 1/4 cp butter until melted.
