  1. 1

Saute onions, mushrooms and garlic in oil on medium-high heat until tender.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, combine ground sunflower seeds, flour, yeast, basil, salt, thyme, sage and kelp.

  3. 3

Add the water, soy sauce, potatoes and oil; stir together.

  4. 4

Stir in the sauteed vegetables and pepper and mix well.

  5. 5

Spoon mixture into a lightly oiled 9-inch pie plate. Bake for 45 minutes, or until center is browned. Chill thoroughly before serving.

  6. 6

Marinate mutton with 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder and sufficient salt for 1 to 2 hours.

  7. 7

Fry chopped onions, chillies, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste.

  8. 8

After a few minutes, add garam masala.

  9. 9

When onions are cooked, add coriander powder, chilli powder and a pinch of turmeric.

  10. 10

    Mix well.

  11. 11

Add tomato and fry for 2 minutes.

  12. 12

Put mutton with masala in the cooker and add some water.

  13. 13

    Cook until meat is tender.

  14. 14

    Garnish with chopped cilantro.

  15. 15

Combine the whole spices in a heavy skillet over moderate heat and toast for a few minutes, until they are warm and aromatic.

  16. 16

Allow to cool, then pulverize in an electric blender or coffee grinder (that you use exclusively for grinding spices) until it forms a fine powder.

  17. 17

Put meat, onions, ginger, green chiles, pepper, cloves and cinnamon, along with the vinegar and 2 cups of coconut milk in a pot; mix well.

  18. 18

Cook on a very slow fire (burner) until the meat is very tender.

  19. 19

Add the potatoes cut into 8ths and cook until potatoes are done.

  20. 20

Mix flour with rest of coconut milk; add mustard and cumin and cook until thickened.
