French Vanilla Ice Cream - Ice Cream & Yogurt is a custard ice cream vanilla recipe made with Half And Half, Sugar, Egg Yolk, Whipping Cream, and Vanilla. Keep it handy for the next time you cook it.

Method (preview)

   In a heavy medium saucepan combine 1/2 & 1/2, sugar & beaten egg yolks.

   Cook & stir over low heat 'til mixture coats a spoon & is slightly thickened.

   Cool to room temperature.

   Stir in whiping cream & vanila.

   Pour into ice cream canister.

   Feeze in ice cream maker accordig to manufacturers directions or follow still freeze instructions.
