Fried Hot Water Cornbread

Fried Hot Water Cornbread is a home-style recipe made with Cornmeal, All Purpose Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Sugar, and Buttermilk. Serves 1.

Ingredientes

• 1.0 cup Cornmeal
• 0.25 cup All Purpose Flour
• 1.0 tsp Baking Powder
• 0.5 tsp Baking Soda

   Mix dry ingredients real well. Add enough boiling water to make stiff dough. Add buttermilk and mix well. Make out in small round patties with hands dipped in water. Fry in deep fat.
