Ingredients

• 2.0 cup Self Rising Cornmeal
• 1.0 Small Onion
• 0.75 cup Milk
• 1.0 Egg Salad Oil Or Shortening

   Combine cornmeal and onion; add milk and egg, stirring well.

   Carefully drop batter by tablespoonfuls into deep hot oil, cook only a few at a time, turning once.
