- 3.0 tbsp Powdered Sugar

Slice cake to make four layers. Whip cream until it starts to thicken and add sugar, syrup and vanilla. Beat until thick enough to spread. Frost each layer, and frost top and sides with whipped cream mixture. Freeze 8 hours. Slice while frozen. Sprinkle with slivered almonds if desired.
