Italian Sausage (Medium Hot)

Make Italian Sausage (Medium Hot) at home with Salt, Ice Cold Water, Fennel Seeds, Black Pepper, and Sugar. Serves 5. Keep it handy for the next time you cook it.

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 tbsp
• 1 cup
• 4 tsp
• 1 tsp
• 1/2 tbsp
• 1 1/2 tsp
• 1/2 tsp
• 1 tbsp
• 5 lb
• 2 tbsp
• 1 1/2 tsp

Method (preview)

   Grind the spices and combine, using a coffee grinder to crush the seeds.

   Mix all ingredients.

   Put into small hog casing.

   Cook immediately or bake in 325F. oven for an hour, then cut up and freeze for sauce or to cook on a hot grill.
