   Put everything into a saucepan except the vanilla.

   Bring to a boil, stirring as needed to mix.

   Boil 2 minutes without stirring.

   Pour into a bowl, and beat about 5 minutes or to a gravy consistency.

   Add vanilla.

   Pour over cool cake.
