Mack's Special Fudge

Mack's Special Fudge is built on Butter Or Margarine Cubed, Sugar, and Vanilla Extract. Scale it up or down for the number of people at the table.

   Mix chocolate chips, butter (un-melted) and the miniature marshmallows into a large mixing bowl and set aside.

   Mix the milk and the sugar in 3 Qt. saucepan.

   Cook over a medium high heat until it reaches a roiling boil.

   Stir constantly.

   Continue boiling for nine minutes.

   Pour over the chocolate mixture and add the vanilla.

   Stir and mix well until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

   Add 2+1/2 cups broken walnut or pecan meats while stirring mixture.

    Pour into a buttered dish and cool before cutting.

    Refrigerate overnight before cutting if possible.
