• 1.0 can Creamed Corn
• 0.75 cup Milk
• 0.3333 cup Melted Shortening
• 1.5 cup Cornmeal

   (American measures 1 cup = 8 fluid ounces)

   Mix all ingredients except chile and cheese. Pour half the batter into a greased 9 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle with half the cheese and chile. Add remaining batter and top with the remaining cheese and chile. Bake at 400 degrees F for 45 minutes
