   Here's a gift my son has made for his teachers for years now -- you could adapt almost any muffin or scone recipe you like. Don't use the "wet" ingredients, provide instructions as to what's needed. (If it's an applesauce recipe, you can include the snack-sized containers of applesauce so they don't have to go buy it!) Mix the butter & "dry" ingredients in your food processor and put in a 1-quart zipper bag. Put any "extras" (dried fruit, nuts, fancy sugar for the top) in smaller zipper bags. Add seasonal paper muffin cups, put it all in a gift bag with the instructions, and give!

   Blend all above ingredients in food processor until mixture resembles coarse meal. transfer to 1-qt. zipper bag.
