Cover chicken and seasonings, with 1-2 inches of water and cook approximately 2 hours. Remove chicken and bay leaft, cool and debone. Dilute broth if necessary. Return meat and all other ingredients, except noodles to broth.

Simmer approximately 1 hour. 30 minutes before serving time add the noodles.
