Picnic-Salad with Bacon (Utflyktssallad med bacon)

A home-style Picnic-Salad with Bacon (Utflyktssallad med bacon) made with Slightly Sour Apples, Fresh Cabbage Head, New Potatoes, Inches Leek, and Bacon. Serves 4. Keep it handy for the next time you cook it.

Method (preview)

   Peel, core, and finely dice the apples - cut a few slices with the skin on for decoration.

   Finely shred the cabbage.

   Slice potatoes, leek, and bacon.

   Stir cr�me fra�che/sour cream and mustard for the sauce.

   Peel, core, and finely chop the apple.

   Finely chop the dill.

   Stir down apple and dill in the sauce - you decide how much dill you want - and flavor with tarragon.

   Part the sauce on top of the salad and decorate with the thin apple slices.
