- 0.5 cup Cranberry Juice
- 0.75 cup Sugar

In a bowl, mix wine with the cranberry juice, sugar, ginger and lemon juice. Pour over the pears. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours until pears are tender but hold their shape. Chill; serve with some juice poured around.
