My pizza dough ingredients are really simple; I just use 2 1/2 cups flour (all purpose or bread flour, both give good but slightly different results), 1 teaspoon (or so) of each: active dry yeast, salt, sugar, and olive oil (plus a little more to oil the bowl), and enough water to make a nice dough in my Cuisinart. I actually only measure the flour and the yeast.

I like to use 2 1/2 cups of flour for each 14 inch pizza crust. In addition, a longer rise makes a much nicer crust than a short rise. My best crusts come from dough made a day or two in advance and refrigerated after the first rise. I just put it in a plastic bag and punch down if it rises too much in the refrigerator. Just take the dough out so that there is enough time for it to come to room temperature before you start making your pizza. Another hint is to prick the dough with a fork after rolling (or pulling) out so big bubbles will not form on your pizza wile cooking.
My pizza stone broke in half after using it several times and turned ugly and black. I just push the two pieces toget...
