   Saut� onions in butter until soft.

   Blend in flour.

   Add water, Chicken Redi-Base, broccoli and bay leaf.

   Simmer until broccoli has thawed.

   Bring to a boil.

   & pepper to taste. Remove from heat and add light cream. Serve.
