Sock-It-To-Me Cake

A home-style Sock-It-To-Me Cake made with Butter Cake Mix, Eggs, Vanilla, Sugar, and Vegetable Oil. Save it, add the ingredients to your shopping list, and cook it tonight.

Method (preview)

   Mix cake mix, sugar and oil.

   Mix in eggs, one at a time.

   Add vanilla; add sour cream.

   Stir in pecans.

   Pour half of batter into greased tube pan.

   Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.

   Sprinkle brown sugar-cinnamon mixture over batter.

   Add remaining batter; do not stir.

   Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 60 to 65 minutes until cake tests done. (You can also use oblong pan.)

    Glaze with mixture of 1 cup confectioners sugar, 3 tablespoons of milk, orange juice or lemon juice. Spread while cake is hot.
