   Place layer of crackers in foil-lined 11 x 16 x 1-inch baking pan.

   Boil butter and sugar for 3 minutes.

   Pour over crackers.

   Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 5 minutes or until crackers float.

   Sprinkle chocolate chips over saltines; when melted spread over chocolate.
