Summer Peaches and Cream Parfait

Method (preview)

   Prepare ascorbic-citric mixture according to pkg directions; sprinkle over peac hes, mixing well. Set aside.

   Cream butter and sugar; add egg, beating well.

   Cook egg mixture in top of a do uble boiler, stirring constantly, until thickened and mixture coats a metal spo on.

   Fold egg mixture into whipped cream. Alternate layers of whipped cream mixture
