   Thyme is one of the three herbs found in a classic bouquet garni ( with bay leaves and parsley ), a bundle of herbs used to flavor soups, stews, and stocks. Its slightly strong pungent taste and spicy aroma are also frequently used to flavor chicken and other poultry dishes, including traditional bread stuffing. Thyme, readily available both fresh and dried, has tiny, dark green leaves.
