Sugar Cookies

A home-style My Mother's Sugar Cookies made with Title My Mother S Sugar Cookies and Categories Cookies. Serves 45. Save it, add the ingredients to your shopping list, and cook it tonight.

Ingredients

Method (preview)

   Cream butter and sugar.

   Beat in eggs and cream.

   Add flour sifted with baking powder, salt and nutmeg.

   Then add lemon juice and vanilla, and mix well.

   Chill dough for at least an hour.

   Roll out thin on a floured board, cut with cookie cutters, and bake at 350^F for about 8 minutes until golden.

   Do not let cookies get too brown.
