Sailors' Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies

Method (preview)

   Beat peanut butter, shortening and sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy.

   Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

   Beat in milk and vanilla.

   Add dry ingredients and chips.

   Mix well.

   Drop dough by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheets.
